JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verite Group, Inc. is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented DevOps and Automated Testing Engineer to join our development team. Verite Group, Inc. is both a software product development company and a consultancy.
• Our Test and Deployment Engineers work in a small team environment interacting closely with development. Creative engineering balanced with a quality, schedule, and customer focus help to ensure successful delivery of a multitude of applications.
• Successful candidates will be strong engineers who can prioritize well, communicate clearly - both orally and written, and have a consistent track record of delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or 5 years Equivalent Work Experience in a cleared environment)
• Strong working knowledge of Linux & Android OS; comfortable with the command line interface
• Strong working knowledge of Continuous Integration workflows (Jenkins, BASH, Python)
• Android Operating System UI testing using a code enhanced testing platforms like UI Automator, Selendroid, Appium, or Mobile Emulators
• Web Application automation experience using tools like Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, or WebdriverIO
• Experience creating and executing automated test plans, scripts, and integrating them into a Continuous Integration system
• Utilization of defect tracking system to document and track issues
• Strong communication skills; working in small team environment directly w/development and integrating existing manual testing into automated systems where practical

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledgeable/familiar with the Agile Software Development Lifecycle
• Demonstrable the ability to create Use Cases and User Stories in work product management tool (JIRA, GitLab, etc)
• Software engineering background with a focus on automation of testing and deployment
• Ability to organize, track, and test requirements using a Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
• Cloud Infrastructure experience using APIs to interact with AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, etc
• Virtualization software (VMWare/VirtualBox/libvirt)
