Royce Geo, a GRVTY Company is currently seeking a Software Solution Architect (SSA) to join our Intelligence and Defense Business areas. The SSA will work across Business Development, contract execution, and the technology sectors of the corporation to help customers solve their more demanding challenges. You will be responsible for the investigation and implementation of emerging technologies and technical capabilities that are targeted to customer and corporate needs. Working with business development and other subject matter experts you will become steeped in the current company’s technologies, dissect customer RFPs and map to existing technologies, develop technical solution roadmaps for investment, and write proposals. The ideal SSA is a quick study with deep analytical skills that will also be capable of translating complex technical tasks and technologies into digestible narratives that allow customers to envision the art of the possible and embrace new and innovate approaches.

This position requires candidates to have a TS/SCI security clearance. It also requires candidates to be in the office in Arlington, VA at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and construct technical solutions for areas as assigned including but not limited to customer RFPs, strategic white papers, IRADs, and other potential investment and capture areas Development of technical solutions for enterprise level deployments with a specific focus on Defense and Intelligence space areas Participate in formulation of and drive assigned IRADs based on business development needs and current/future programs Communicate and collaborate with other SMEs across technical domains to drive differentiation and innovation into a capturing new growth opportunities.
  • Work with the program teams and leadership to identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities.
  • Act as primary author for technical components of key captures to include contributions to capture milestone events (white papers, demonstrations, win theme, technology cross-walks, etc.).
  • Work with the Business Development team to support new business strategies, including the development of technical solutions, basis of estimates, white papers, industry partnerships, and responses to RFIs and RFPs Strengthen existing programs with application of technology and/or innovation by leveraging known technology and solutions on current programs and for new business
  • Build and lead tiger teams to address challenging topics.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen with a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field with 10-15+ years of experience of relevant experience in computer science, engineering, data science, or other STEM discipline. (Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree or higher degree credentials in lieu of fully preferred field experience.)
  • Experience as a lead engineer for government programs valued at $10M annual revenue or greater.
  • Other contributions like IRAD management and COTS development expertise may be considered.
  • Awareness of leading technology capability providers that enhance our technical solutions, specifically GEOINT, multi-int fusion, space domain technologies, and AI/ML implementation.
  • Experience as a solution architect and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals.
  • Gains technical understanding of unfamiliar technology areas quickly.
  • Deep knowledge of, and experience with, many different software architectures and technologies, understanding the tradeoffs and use cases for each technology set.
  • Strong briefing skills, specifically related to technology demonstrations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Direct experience supporting the intelligence community and/or COCOMs related to J2 work areas.
  • Experience working successful partnerships with suppliers on proposals Remote sensing systems, GEOINT, image and intelligence data processing and management, aerospace-related education or first-hand experience with these technologies.
  • Hands on experience with software development, test and evaluation.
