A Year of Defying Gravity – GRVTY’s Inaugural Year in Review

As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect on a year defined by the rapid scaling of our mission-driven technology. From emerging from stealth in March to today as a nearly 1,000-employee powerhouse, GRVTY has fundamentally shifted the landscape of defense technology.

The Launch: A New Force in Defense Tech

The journey began in March 2025 when Arlington Capital Partners officially launched GRVTY. Led by CEO Katie Selbe, the company was built to deliver American dominance from space to cyberspace. To guide this vision, we added seasoned corporate leaders and established our Advisory Board, ensuring our roadmap remains aligned with the critical needs of the Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC).

Building a Culture of Excellence

Our mission is only as strong as our people. In August, GRVTY was honored to be named a 2025 Top Workplace by The Washington Post. This was followed by our official certification as a Great Place to Work, reflecting a culture defined by ownership, transparency, responsibility, and high-consequence work.

Expanding Mission Capabilities

Throughout 2025, GRVTY aggressively expanded its technical offerings to stay ahead of evolving threats. We bolstered our capabilities across our core verticals:

  • Space – Further strengthened our geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), imagery, signature, and data science capabilities to better identify and process a diverse range of data sources including SAR, RF, EO, among others.
  • Cyber – Expanded upon our industry-leading cyber capabilities by investing in computer network operations and access solutions while adding a high-end suite of cyber analysis and engineering solutions.
  • Spectrum – Enhanced our ability to detect and analyze electronic signatures in complex environments through proprietary solutions and technology offerings.
  • Next Generation Technology Development – Added advanced research and development capabilities to ensure our technology continues to outpace near-peer adversaries.

Leadership and Strategic Vision

To accelerate our growth, we strategically scaled our leadership team:

  • Retired USAF Major General Dave Abba joined the Advisory Board in September, bringing cross-domain DoW program leadership insight.
  • Retired USMC Major General Ryan Heritage joined the Advisory Board in October, providing deep expertise in USCYBERCOM operations.

Industry Recognition and Growing Scale

The industry took notice of our momentum as GRVTY was named to the NVTC Tech100. This growth is best reflected in our people: what started as a team of 325 has surged to nearly 1,000 employees by the end of the year.

Looking Ahead to 2026

In less than a year, GRVTY has transitioned from a new name in the industry to a critical partner for national security. As we enter 2026, we remain dedicated to advancing and accelerating national security to ensure that those on the front lines always have the advantage.

The mission is just beginning. We’re here to answer the challenge in 2026 and beyond.
